WHY A CRISIS PREGNANCY CENTER?
The woman with a crisis pregnancy is thrown into confusion. She needs a clear point of reference from which to make decisions. Too often she is led to believe
that abortion is a safe and easy solution without medical or psychological risk or moral significance. She lacks information about alternatives to abortion.
If a pregnant woman is already living under pressure, she will tend to focus on her pregnancy as her major problem. Out of fear of judgment and rejection, she hesitates to inform those closest to her, increasing the pressure. Aggravating the situation is the fact that the newly pregnant woman is going through rapid physiological and psychological adjustment.
Savannah Care Center exists to help pregnant women explore alternatives to abortion. We actively encourage women to carry their children to term, and we will provide whatever service we can to make this an attractive option.
Since our opening in 1985, we have reached more than 30,000 women with the message that their life, and the life they carry, is of great significance.
